Team Ranchi Diaries visits the Chief Minister of Jharkhand in Ranchi
~Extends gratitude to the government for the continued help during the shoot of the film~
3rd October 2017, Ranchi: With the release of the upcoming film Ranchi Diaries drawing close, the promotions for the film are in full swing. Today, Anupam Kher along with actors Himansh Kohli and Soundarya Sharma and debutante writer-director Sattwik Mohanty of Ranchi Diaries visited Ranchi to promote their film. The team met the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Raghubar Das to thank him for the immense support the government has extended to the film.
True to its name, the film which has been shot in Ranchi holds a special place in the hearts of the entire cast and crew. Sattwik Mohanty also has spoken of the immense help and support he received from the government and locals of the city. Chief Minister Mr. Das was extremely warm & welcoming, and wished the team luck for the film.
Anupam Kher commented saying –‘In the last couple of years, the Jharkhand government has been very forthcoming and supportive of the films that are being made to spread the awareness about the cultural heritage and tourism of the state. We are very fortunate to have been given this by the Chief Minister. It was a pleasure meeting him today. He also said that they are trying to make the film tax free since the whole film is shot here. He was also present for the first Muhurat of the film’.
Ranchi Diaries also stars Taaha Shah, Harry Bala, Pradeep Singh, Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher and Jimmy Shergill. The trailer of the movie was launched in Mumbai by star directors Mahesh Bhatt, David Dhawan and Rohit Shetty. Produced by Coconut Motion Pictures in association with Actor Prepares, Mumbai, the film is directed by Sattwik Mohanty and will hit theatres near you on 13th October 2017.
