DILIP GULATI’s DUBAI TO DHARAVI TRIPAS Don Abdullah In MAFIA BIGG BOSS

Writer-producer-director and editor Dilip Gulati was hugely applauded when he entered Dubai as Don Abdullah and he continued his tour this time in his own homeland in India in the overcowded  Dharavi area, the biggest ever slum area of  the world, located at Mahim-Sion area on 9th February.

The film is also made in Tamil and Telugu besides Hindi and Dilip Gulati chose the Dharavi area, largely dominated by the Tamilians who are largely Rajnikanth fans. Dilip Gulati made a grand entry to the song of Bappi Lahiri rendered number “Bhai, Mumbai Ka Bhai” and the Tamilians stood up and cheered, whistled and clapped after watching the song and the promos of the film in tamil language. An overwhelmed Dilip Gulati told  PRO and film trade journalist Mohan Ayyer:” I am thrilled to watch such a fantastic reaction for the film. Also Tamilians have a great regard for boldly made films and I have made a film on the Dons of Mumbai from 1960 till the nineties who had ruled and I play the role of Don Abdullah.” The Tamil and Telugu audiences are more than any  other regional language  audiences of India and I wish to entertain them in a big way thru MAFIA BIGG BOSS in  South taste as the audiences there are genuine film lovers and they even repeat the films  as the South audiences understand the pains of a filmmaker who genuinely makes a film with a purpose. I have shown the life of Dons in their true colours and also how they speak, how they walk and also how they enjoy their lives.”
