Q’s LUDO will be available to watch instantly only on Netflix 22nd November 2016
LUDO, directed by Nikon and Q, creates history and continues its dream run, as it releases digitally on Netflix in November 2016.
It is a story about four desperate teenagers who decide to spend one fateful night in the big city. Desperate and broke, they go hide inside a gigantic shopping mall; but they are not alone, an old couple appears from nowhere and a night of terror begins. It begins with a simple but deadly game called LUDO.
LUDO’s release completes the library of Qs films on Netflix, where die-hard fans can binge-watch all his films including Brahman Naman and Tasher Desh among others. Qs most recent work Brahman Naman, was in competition at Sundance, and was picked up by Netflix as part of their original film slate this past year.
LUDO, which won Best Film at the Belgrade International Film Festival, Serbia, premiered at all the four major Fantastic Festivals of the world. The art-house horror film is the first of its kind directed by Q, aka Doktorgandu, who is notorious for his subversive storytelling and non-conformist treatment of films. He has co-directed LUDO with his long time friend, editor and collaborator, Nikon.
LUDO is a creation of the crack team at Oddjoint: directors Nikon & Q, and Celine Loop. LUDO is produced and backed by Idyabooster and Starfire Movies, and co-produced by Oddjoint. Amara Muzik has released the music of the film.
