Kuldip Patwal: I Didn’t Do It is a story of a common man caught in uncommon circumstances.

Debutant director, writer and producer Remy Kohli’s film “Kuldip Patwal: I Didn’t Do It” is an intriguing story of a man who becomes the victim of a conspiracy, is trapped in a malicious way and thrown away in a dingy jail cell.

Kuldip Patwal, in the film, is accused of murdering the state Chief Minister Varun Chadha, which is witnessed by many people. What is the state up to and why is an ordinary man caught in the midst of all this? Whether it’s a political party head or the businessman funding the party or a frustrated police officer or is it the entire system getting together to bring a common man to his knees by threatening him into submission by intimidation or enticement?  These questions are answered by the end of the film that was premiered at Cannes and has been praised for its ‘narrative and noteworthy performances’.  That’s not surprising as the cast boasts of actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Raima Sen, Gulshan Devaiah, Parvin Dabbas and Anurag Arora among others. The dramatic thriller, is being released by Prn-N-Camera International, opens in cinemas on December 15, 2017.

एक साधारण नागरिक कुलदीप पटवाल पर राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री वरुण चड्ढा के क़त्ल का इलज़ाम लगता है, जिसके कई गवाह भी है। राज्य सरकार क्या कर रही है ? किस तरह किसी षड़यंत्र का हिस्सा होकर एक सामान्य आदमी पिसता है, क्या ये किसी राजनितिक पार्टी या किसी बिजनेस मैन की कारस्तानी है, या किसी भ्रष्ट पुलिस अफसर की चाल या पुरे तंत्र का मिलाजुला काम, एक सामान्य इंसान को घुटनो पर लेकर गुलाम बनाने की ? क्या है यह ? इन सवालो ला जवाब फिल्म के अंत में मिलता है जो पिछले दिनों ‘कांन्स’ में दिखाई गयी थी और उसे लोगो की भरपूर प्रशंसा मिली। फिल्म में दीपक डोबरियाल, राइमा सेन, गुलशन देविहा , परवीन डबास एवं अनुराग अरोरा का सराहनीय काम है, यह ड्रामेटिक थ्रिलर फिल्म को पेन-एन-कैमरा इंटरनेशनल १५ दिसम्बर २०१७ को संपूर्ण भारत में प्रदर्शित कर रहे है।
