MLA Ameet B Satam Celebrates Children’s Day with 2000 children of Utpal Sanghvi School for cleanliness drive in Juhu
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ameet Bhaskar Satam graced the cleaning mission with school kids on Children’s Day. During his media interaction, 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Member Amit hails PM Narendra Modi’s mission “Swachh Bharat” an inspiration.
“The mission started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is inspiring the whole country, whether it is slum, residential locality, school, institution or individuals, everyone is getting inspired to keep surroundings clean”
“This mission is something, which none of the prior Indian PM’s started, only PM Modi started it. He addressed the nation about Swach Bharat during his 15th August speech; I think this call has been successful and inspiring entire nation. Cleanliness is the main mission” said Ameet Satam about the mission on Children’s Day.
On the occasion of Children’s Day, hundreds of students along with their parents gathered at Juhu and spent the morning cleaning the streets. From tiny tots to teenagers, students from Utpal Shanghvi School participated in a civic awareness drive at JVPD scheme covering 21 different lanes with a group of 100 volunteers for each lane.
Children were seen cleaning the roads, collecting garbage and painting walls lining the streets. Senior students were seen holding slogans and talking to fellow citizens about segregation of wet waste and dry waste, saying no to plastic and how to stop littering.
