Junaid Kaliwala puts India on the world map by winning the First Indian Physique Athlete at IFBB Pro.

It was a moment of joy and success. The camaraderie and bonhomie which was showered by his friends, fans and followers was mind-boggling. Junaid Kaliwala has done the unimaginable feat of grabbing the First Indian Physique Athlete – IFBB Pro Card after winning five NPC shows back to back and his recent overall title at NPC New York Grand Prix. His success has to be applauded and appreciated by the Indian Government too.

When quizzed about his success, a humility-personified Junaid gave a down-to-earth response, “I have earlier attended such championships but this one definitely makes me proud. Getting India on the world map requires a lot of dedication, commitment and endurance. The competition was tough but being an Indian we have the zeal to excel at what we do. This welcome-back success party given by my dear friends Arif chunawala ( fair mont construction)& Fahim batliwala ( simca advertising )is very touching”.

While the buzz at the party compared him to India’s answer to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Junaid diplomatically commented, “Arnold is an Icon, I have a long way to go. Yes, he’s an inspiration for many including me.” What really touches you is that Junaid is sane, sorted and grounded. His dedication to fitness is truly commendable.
