Yusuf Qasmi is an Indian Writer, Actor and Director. He founded SMITA PATIL STREET THEATRE in 1989 with object to spread awareness amongst masses against social evil through his famous street play “ANTH” which is listed 4th time constantly in LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS as longest running street play.

He is the only theatre person who has performed 6553 shows and written 23 street plays on social topics such as drugs awareness, aids awareness, illiteracy, child labour, women and health, pollution, communal harmony, anti corruption, road safety, gas pipeline safety, ragging, eye donation, organ donation, body donation, anti terrorism etc.
