Chandni Sharma join Mallika Sherawat for Zeenat

2014’s Indian Princess Winner Chandni Sharma has bagged her debut film Zeenat to be directed by Saandesh B. Nayak. The beauty queen will be seen in a challenging role along with Mallika Sherawat.

After her big win as the Indian Princes in 2014, Chandni went on to win many titles like Miss Intercontinental India 2014 and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International India 2015. Though Chandni’s role has been kept under the wraps, a source close to the crew informs that her role will be different from the kind of characters that the audience has been subjected to.

Chandni Sharma  added “I am really thrilled to work in ‘Zeenat’ and grateful to Saandesh sir and his team for believing in me for my role. They are leaving no stone unturned to train me for Zeenat. Looking forward to  learn a lot from my veteran co actors as well. I am excited and nervous at the same time on this beautiful new journey into the film industry.”

Zeenat is a story about today’s womanhood. It also touches upon human relationships. A woman has more to her than what meets the eyes. And if pushed to a corner, she will fight back and how…Zeenat is a story  not of one girl but of  the whole womankind. It is a saga of their lives today, told by the protagonist, our Zeenat , who  since childhood is an independent, unconventional  girl and   ultimately becomes instrumental in conveying a very strong message to the world  about women and  injustice done to them. The storyline is carried on by two very prominent and paramount characters  Ananta and Moiz on their very strong shoulders, who are the closest friends of  Zeenat. They translate their power into the story and  take it to its conclusion. In between the unpredictable consequences and the story between Zeenat and her lover Arjun, the film is a social drama film revolving around relationships.

“Zeenat” will go on floors soon and it will tentatively release at the end of 2017. Zeenat is directed by Saandesh Nayak and produced by Isha Nayak and Imran Shaikh under the banner of Saanvi Nayak Films.
