AMIKA SHAIL – A MELODIOUS SINGER WITH INTOXICATING EYES

AMIKA SHAIL is the new entrant in the singing dome. Gifted with a harmonious and hoarse voice, she launched her new single party number album ‘ ANKHAN SHARABI ’ recently.

The song which has her signature singing style and with trendy music and lyrics can set any party to fire. The song was shot in Goa. According to Amika, the track is very close to her heart as she has not only sung but performed too.

Amika  who began her musical journey by learning Hindustani Classic Music at the tender age of five, owes the inspiration behind her music to her mother. A Post-Graduate in Hindustani Classical Music, she passed out as a Sangeet Visharad and has been a part of television reality shows like Little Stars, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, National Talent Hunt, Little Champs and Indian Idol.

Amika had won the Star Voice of India, Doordarshan Talent Hunt and The All India Radio Show. Besides acoustic covers and originals, Amika has lent her voice to various advertisement campaigns and Television Soaps. It was her creativity, singing ability and screen presence that landed her a role in a soon to be released film “MEIN ROSHNI”.

Samit Sen, the veteran Music Composer for over 60 films has even praised Amika on the release of the album and made it known that she has always been special as he has seen her emerging from strength to strength. With four generations of his family having worked in music composing, music is in his blood and it wasn’t difficult for him to recognize a good and talented singer like Amika who is exceptionally passionate and that this new single album is certain to take her to newer heights.

Amika signed off making it known that Mumbai is her dream city and it has been an amazing journey with each day teaching some lessons and giving some memories; and feel blessed by the love and appreciation received from  media and the audience. She further conveys her gratefulness to all who have been a part of her musical journey in every small and big way and promise to spread more love and joy through music.
